From My First Bite I was Hooked!
We came at Saigon Bowl for lunch in Summer of 2020. It was a strange time yet our craving for Vietnamese food broke down all restrictions and rules. Indeed, we were glad that we did come in. We came regular ever since.

Saigon Bowl Pho is not to be missed. Arguably the most famous of Vietnam’s dishes. The term was actually Pho originated in the north before spreading across the whole country as the Vietnamese moved south. Although the northern and southern Pho is different from the south having fresh herbs and sprouts whereas the north misses these ingredients. Pho has such a complex in ingredients and rich in flavor. Usually made with beef, it can also be made with chicken but this isn’t as commonplace. The broth is made with the beef bones and charred onion, star anise and ginger. Garnishes include Asian mint, thorny coriander, lime wedges and bean sprouts. Again, Pho at Saigon Bowl is the place for you to try.

Personally the toughest part about coming here would be the difficulty of choosing between pho or grilled pork over rice or vermicelli rice noodle. Either way, you simply don’t make bad choice. Since the beginning Fall In Love With Bún Thịt Nướng in English would be Grilled Pork + Vermicelli Rice Noodles Vietnamese. So if you’re wanting to add new flavors, colors, and textures to your weekly routine, bún thịt nướng would be it! Best of all. Sizzling grilled pork chops that have been marinated over night then grilled to perfection. Then it lays on top of either rice or vermicelli rice noodles, this is a good start. Then accompany with fresh green salad and delicious and rich in flavor topping sauce. I’d tell ya this is a party in a mouth.
